PGI has prepared the “COVID-19 READY” Protocols for the summer activities of Grandvalira (SAETDE) and Grandvalira Resorts Ordino -Arcalís (SECNOA)
PGI has successfully completed the definition of the “COVID-19 Ready” action protocols for the safe resumption of summer activity at Grandvalira (SAETDE) and Grandvalira Resorts Ordino-Arcalís (SECNOA).
The COVID-19 crisis has made it necessary to adapt the forms of action for all activities, especially in the tourism sector. After an abrupt end to the winter season, Grandvalira and Grandvalira Resorts Ordino-Arcalís are now ready to operate summer activities (cable cars, restaurants and accommodation).
The PGI team has drawn up COVID-19 Ready Action Plans together with those responsible for occupational risk prevention, the operation of the cable cars, restaurants, MBD, EPIC Andorra’s accommodation and the La Illa and Sorteny shelters.
The safety measures that will be implemented in each of the business units will be in line with the most demanding protocols published by the Andorran, Spanish and French health authorities, as well as the recommendations of the Ministries of Tourism and hotel associations to restart tourism activity. All this to make the summer activities of Grandvalira (SAETDE) and Grandvalira Resorts – Ordino-Arcalís (SECNOA) COVID-19 Ready.
To this end, the Action Plans have been based on 3 basic pillars:
- Customer Service: by installing informative posters, hydro-alcoholic gel and drawing up protocols for employees’ actions when interacting with the customer.
- Cleaning and Disinfection: by increasing its frequency, implementing registration processes and establishing action protocols in case of suspicion in the managed accommodations, among other measures.
- Human Resources: training of workers, respect for safety distance, use of masks at all times and frequent cleaning of hands will become essential actions for workers.
With all this, it is hoped that visitors to the summer activities at Grandvalira (SAETDE) and Grandvalira Resorts – Ordino-Arcalís (SECNOA) will be safe and the summer season will be a success.
